By subscribing to Artinya Reminder, clicking the confirmation link in your welcome email, or otherwise using artinyareminder.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not subscribe or use the service.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Artinya Reminder. We may update these Terms from time to time — see Section 12 for details.
Artinya Reminder delivers one vocabulary word per day in your chosen language via email. Delivery is targeted for 7:00 AM UTC. Vocabulary content is generated using AI (OpenAI gpt-4o-mini) and reviewed for quality.
While we take care to ensure accuracy, language is complex and we cannot guarantee that every word entry is entirely error-free. If you spot an error, please email us — we take accuracy seriously and will correct it. Content is provided for educational and informational purposes only.
We reserve the right to modify the features included in either tier with reasonable notice (at least 30 days for material changes to the free tier, and 14 days for Pro). Where changes materially reduce the Pro service, you may cancel and receive a prorated refund.
Pro subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring monthly or annual basis through Stripe. By subscribing to Pro, you authorise us to charge your payment method on each billing cycle.
Cancellation: You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time through the account management link in any billing email, or by contacting us at hello@artinyareminder.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you retain full Pro access until then.
Refunds: We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods, except where required by applicable law (including UK consumer rights legislation). If you are entitled to a refund under applicable law, contact us within 14 days of the charge.
Failed payments: If a payment fails, we will retry up to three times and notify you by email. If payment cannot be collected after reasonable attempts, your account will revert to the free tier.
You agree to use the service only for its intended purpose of personal language learning. You agree not to:

The Artinya Reminder brand, logo, website design, and email template designs are our intellectual property. All rights reserved.
Vocabulary words themselves are not owned by us — language belongs to everyone. However, the specific word entries, example sentences, memory tips, and other original content we generate are our creative work and are protected by copyright.
You are granted a personal, non-commercial, non-transferable licence to use content delivered via the service for your own language learning. This licence does not include any right to redistribute or commercialise the content.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We aim for 99.9% email delivery but cannot guarantee delivery in all cases. Delivery may be affected by spam filters, full mailboxes, ISP policies, and other factors outside our control. We are not responsible for emails that are filtered, delayed, or not delivered.
Vocabulary content is for educational purposes only. We do not guarantee fluency or learning outcomes. Results depend entirely on your engagement, learning practice, and individual aptitude.
We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from security vulnerabilities.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ARTINYA REMINDER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY:
Our total aggregate liability to you for any and all claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service shall not exceed the greater of: (a) the total amount you paid us in the 12 months immediately preceding the claim, or (b) £10.00.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law. For UK consumers, your statutory rights are not affected by these Terms.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Artinya Reminder from and against any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to: (a) your violation of these Terms; (b) your use of the service in a manner not permitted by these Terms; or (c) your violation of any third-party rights.
By you: You may terminate your subscription and account at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email or contacting us. Free tier accounts are terminated immediately upon request. Pro accounts are terminated at the end of the current billing period.
By us: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access immediately, without notice or refund, if you: violate these Terms; engage in behaviour harmful to other users, our infrastructure, or our reputation; or if we reasonably believe your account is being used fraudulently.
Upon termination, our Privacy Policy governs what happens to your data.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the service shall first be attempted to be resolved informally by emailing us at hello@artinyareminder.com. If not resolved within 30 days, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer in the EU, you may also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform.
We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes (those that meaningfully affect your rights or obligations) will be communicated to active subscribers by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Non-material changes may be made at any time without notice.
Continued use of the service after the effective date of material changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not accept the updated Terms, you must stop using the service and unsubscribe.
Entire agreement: These Terms and our Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and Artinya Reminder regarding the service and supersede all prior agreements.
Severability: If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force.
No waiver: Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of our right to enforce it in the future.
Assignment: You may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms without our written consent. We may assign our rights without restriction.
